Parent Testimonials
“Play Together has become a centerpiece of my toddler and my week. We’ve made lifelong connections in Meghan’s classes and learned so much. The space is incredible, with so many sensory toys and fun activities for both young babies and toddlers; seeing my daughter play with a variety of cool toys lets me purchase more intelligently for my own home. The true magic is Meghan herself, our own local Miss Rachel, who is a wealth of early childhood information and ideas for play. The kids absolutely adore her and the parents come with tricky questions that we all workshop together. I am so thankful for this community and this space for my child to learn and grow. Josie has been attending classes since she was 9 months old and I can’t wait to continue to see her grow along with Play Together!”
“Im not exaggerating when I say Play Together changed both mine and my son’s life for the better. As a first time parent without a lot of experience in taking care of kids. I found myself clueless on how to entertain my then 7 month old son and I found myself very socially isolated, having no other friends with kids. After a couple classes I learned many new ways to soothe and amuse him and after a few more I made some great friends that have totally transformed my social life. Almost a year later I still go to the weekly playgroup sessions, it’s a guaranteed hour of connection, peace, learning and no worries about my toddler getting into something!”
“Play Together Acton was an anchor during the postpartum journey as a first time mom. Meghan has made the space feel safe for all who enter, with her upbeat personality and positive demeanor. She personally gets to know all those who attend and forms meaningful connections to our children. She has been able to help so many moms with questions about childhood development, and provides knowledgeable insight on how to better support your child in many different ways that work for you and your families. She is a very special part of our lives and I highly suggest her to any new parents looking for a community! ”
What To Expect:
All classes are designed for small groups to facilitate meaningful engagement with your child, and fellow participants. Our biggest class will be capped at 8 adult and child pairs, and smallest class is capped at 5 adult and child pairs.
Classes will vary based on the need of the age group. They often begin with an opening circle with music and movement. Then, parents and children will have access to a rotation of curated engaging activities including sensory exploration, movement, and pretend play.

Thanks for being here! I started Play Together Acton after becoming a mom in 2022. My first love, prior to starting our family, is early childhood development. I graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work, then earned my Masters Degree in Special Education and Educational Psychology from The University of Houston. I have been a preschool teacher for over 10 years, and have a passion for all things play, social emotional development, regulation, and sensory development. I am certified in children’s yoga, DIRFloortime, and trained in Relationship Development Intervention (RDI).
I believe in the strengths of families, the power of relationships, and play. I strive to be inclusive and neurodiversity affirming in my practice and daily life.
My goal is to create programs where families feel confident in their connections and play with their children, while building community here in Acton.
